Since our members reflect a diversity of beliefs about life and life after death, our memorial services and funerals also reflect this diversity.  These services are planned and written with the family members and the minister to reflect the beliefs and values of the person who has died.  The community of mourners are often asked to share a memory or story to honor the deceased.  Our memorial services and funerals are often both joyous and deeply touching since they are designed specifically for that person, not to reflect a general doctrine or faith tradition.
