Our Central Virginia country church is five minutes from I-295 and Innsbrook and ten minutes from downtown Short Pump. We draw folks from all over the Richmond area.
Our park-like setting reflects our affinity for nature. The contemporary building provides an open door to all ages, abilities, and mobilities.

From I-64 East or West
From I-64 east or west, take the I-295 Washington/Norfolk exit. Take Exit 51A/Nuckols Road North off of I-295. Continue on Nuckols Road for 1.7 miles, then turn right onto Shady Grove Road. Shady Grove Road becomes Cauthorne Road. Drive 1.3 miles and turn left into our church parking lot.
From Short Pump
From Short Pump (Pouncey Tract, Pump Road/Broad Street intersection), go north on Pouncey Tract for 1.5 miles. Turn right on Shady Grove Road and travel 0.6 miles. Turn left to stay on Shady Grove Road, cross Nuckols Road. Shady Grove Road becomes Cauthorne Road. Drive 1.3 miles after the intersection of Shady Grove Road and Nuckols Road. Turn left into our church parking lot. We have plenty of parking.
Accessibility
Our sanctuary is accessible for wheelchair users.
Please note: The building does not yet have an elevator. However, you can drive around back to access the classrooms on the lower floor from the rear entrance of the building.
Office Hours
The church office is open Monday – Thursday – 10 am to 3 pm, and Friday – 10 am to 2 pm and by appointment. Contact our office by email.

In 2016, UUCC established our front yard Little Free Library to be a catalyst for building community, inspiring readers, and expanding book access in Hanover. Open the door to knowledge and wonder!
